Once a month i bake too much and invite strangers (and repeat snackers) into my apartment and we call it book club.
June's pick is Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy — her first ever memoir, about her mother, about becoming a writer, about loving someone complicated and running away from them anyway (we will have things to say about this).
As always, no pressure to finish the book — just a good appetite and energy to yap is all you need.
11am on a Sunday so you can sleep in or have a cheeky morning run first (both valid). We talk as long as it takes and nobody leaves on time (I'm very proud of that.)
