Peking Duck and Pinot
Planned by Ravi from Bon Chovy: A Northside Supper ClubWhat to expect
Duck and Pinot? A quacking combination.
I’ve spent the last decade in the wine industry, marketing it, making it, and most importantly, sharing it. Lately, my cellar has been looking a little overcrowded, so I figured it was time to host a wine night or two and pour through some favourites. After a debaucherous first event featuring champagne and dumplings at Melbourne’s HuTong, I’m keen to explore another favourite pairing, Pinot Noir and Peking duck. For this outing, I’ll be pouring a curated selection of Pinot Noir from eight regions, spanning Beechworth to Burgundy - all from my own cellar. Tickets are $69, covering the wines poured and the venue’s BYO corkage. On the night, you’ll taste wines with a combined value of over $700. Each guest will receive at least three glasses, all served in proper stemware, which you’ll also take home, valued at $55 per glass and saving me the return trip. Please note, the ticket price covers wine only. Food will be ordered and shared as a group on the night.
