Pawns and Pints, anyone?

Rook Club is finally getting together! For our first meet, we're heading to Naughton's Parkville, one of Melbourne's great pubs, who've kindly offered their private dining room for a low-stakes afternoon of chess and chats. The format is loose. Bring a board if you have one, show up if you don't. Play a few games, grab a round, talk nonsense between moves. It's as much about getting people together as it is about the game. Low pressure, easy afternoon, genuinely good fun - whether you're a complete beginner, a seasoned player, or just someone who enjoys the odd game or two. There'll be a few laughs, some questionable moves, and shit chess puns. The PDR is ours for the whole evening, folks are welcome to stick around and share a feed if keen!
