Brown Women Hiking

Laid backCasual
Sun 2 Aug12:30am – 5:00am

Get outside and make the most of winter.

There’s such a special magic of colder weather, join us for a winter bushwalk alongside other women of colour and friends (everyone is welcome).

According to the Wurundjeri calendar, it’s Waring season, the time of year when mornings are misty, wombats are out lazing and grazing, lyrebirds are partying, and multilingual fungi are popping up to say hello, g’day, namaskar, aadab…

Bring along a snack, we’ll aim to walk with plenty of breaks in between.

All fitness levels are welcome. We’ll be moving together gently, with the intention of connecting to land and each other.

Meet the planner

I run brown women comedy & a community for South Asian women. I curate gatherings and love being part of them. Currently I’m interested in exploring spirituality, meditation, writing, creativity, building side hustles and living meaningfully
