Who are you? Is it something you discover, or something you perform? And what happens when an algorithm or a star sign thinks it knows you better than you do? Big questions, but we promise, no philosophy degrees required. This is our first Soft Arguments Supper: a facilitated social evening designed to help you think out loud, connect with different perspectives, and leave feeling a sense of connection to others & yourself. Over three plant-based courses by Léonie, founder of Racine, we’ll borrow the shape of a French classroom essay: thèse (argue a question), antithèse (argue its opposite), and synthèse (blend the two into something new). Expect discussions on personality tests, trait theories, horoscopes, AI’s influence on how we see ourselves, and the idea that there might be no self at all. Spots are kept intentionally small so your ideas can breathe. 15 seats, one long table.
