Bookswap & Cookies at Coogee💙🍪
Beach bookswap with fun and new friends
WE'RE BACK TO COOGEE!!! 🌊📚🍪
You asked, we listened so our fave book swap is back at the beach!
Join Off Duty for a sunny Sunday of coffee, cookies, new friends and new stories to take home.
Details :
🗓️ SUNDAY 22 NOVEMBER 2026, 11 AM
📍 Meet: Above The Hook Cafe, Coogee
🎟️ $10 includes a delicious chunky cookie by @bakedbynishiii (Chocolate Chunk / Blueberry Cheesecake / Toasted Tiki / Nutella Stuffed)
How it works our Bookswap :
- Please bring a book you LOVED and are ready to pass on. Wrap it up cute brown paper, newspaper, old tote, whatever you have and write a little teaser on top. No spoilers please! Just the vibe: "cozy + chaotic", "made me cry on the bus", "for hot girls who love sad books" etc.
You'll leave with a mystery book you choose .
We’ll kick things off with coffee at Above The Hook Cafe (buy your own coffee). Then head down to the beach for the swap, @bakedbynishiii cookies, good chats and fun company. Come solo, everyone is SO friendly, promise.
Bring your wrapped book and the good vibes! Can’t wait to see you there 💙🫶🏻

Trying to romanticise life and meet good people 🤍
Full-time social worker working with refugees by day, and off-duty I’m busy with coffee runs, Pilates, gym, reading, and hanging out with friends. Sydney’s been home 7+ years and I’m always up for meeting new friends who can have fun and do real conversations. Big on books, true crime shows, rom-coms, and self-care. I also run the Off-Duty Club : a Sydney social group for people escaping the 9–5 + making life more fun. Insta: @offduty_sydney & we’re on butter too 🫶🏻✨
