Fashion x Law Talk: Beyond the Áo Dài

In celebration of 2026 Melbourne Fashion Week, FAQTORY: Beyond the Áo Dài brings together emerging Vietnamese designers and creatives from both Vietnam and Australia (Melbourne) to explore the forces shaping this dynamic fashion movement. Coined from the words Fashion, FAQ and Story, FAQTORY creates a space for conversation and curiosity.
The afternoon will open with a performance by Subject Δ(Delta), who will present a textural sonic experience on the Đàn Tranh, setting the scene for the main event: a panel discussion exploring cultural identity, sustainability, and innovation in the rise of Vietnamese fashion, while also reflecting on the lived experiences and perspectives of the Vietnamese diaspora.
Our founder, Chloe Lei, is very excited to be joining such a talented group of Vietnamese creatives and fashion designers for this conversation. She will be speaking to the rise of Vietnamese fashion, cultural identity, and the legal and business realities of building a distinctive fashion label in the Australian market and beyond.
