Cook from your Culture

We’re celebrating the stories behind the food we make. Each guest will bring a homemade dish that represents their culture, nationality, ancestry, upbringing, or simply a meal that feels like home. Whether it's a recipe passed down through generations or a dish that's become in part of your own story, we can't wait to gather around the table and share it.

Culture means something different to everyone, so interpret the theme in whatever way feels most authentic to you.

As always, the goal is to share something homemade, discover new flavors, swap recipes, and connect with fellow food lovers from around Los Angeles.

Throughout the evening, guests will sample dishes from around the world, exchange the stories behind each recipe, and fill out their Cook Club Passport as they meet fellow members and discover the inspiration behind each dish. We’ll also enjoy a tasting of wines from different regions of the world provided by LA’s favorite wine bar, Wife and the Somm, collect recipes for a digital Cook Club cookbook that everyone can take home, and head home with thoughtfully curated product samples from some of our favorite food brands, plus a raffle featuring additional prizes.

Please bring enough portions of your homemade dish for 24 guests to enjoy a small sample. Whether it's bite-sized servings, small bowls, or individually portioned pieces, the goal is for every guest to experience a taste of each dish.

This event is in Mar Vista. Attendance is limited. Your spot will be confirmed once payment is received.

If your plans change and you're no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.

One Rule: Everything brought to Cook Club must be homemade.

If you sign up with one dish and later decide to make something different, no problem! Just let us know before the event so we can keep our recipe list up to date.
