Hand-embroidery Session (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Location: San Telmo Studio , Chippendale Duration: 2.5 hours Join us for a relaxed, hands-on embroidery session - a small temporary Merceria for the afternoon, where you can slow down and step away from screens. We’d like it to feel spontaneous and fun. There will be simple stitch guides on the table so everyone can experiment, share tips, and learn from each other. The focus is on creating freely, with room for imperfections. We’ll be there throughout the workshop to help with techniques, answer questions, and guide you along the way. Feel free to bring your own designs or ideas to stitch, but we’ll also provide a selection of Moka illustrations to choose from - almost like tattoo flash, but for clothing. You’re welcome to bring your own garment to embroider and customise, though extra fabric will also be provided and included in the kit. Natural fabrics like cotton or linen work best, especially non-stretch materials.
