Book club meets apartment cafe (June round 2)

You asked. We’re doing it again.

June 21st sold out before most of you heard about it, so here’s your second chance, same book, same apartment, same unreasonable amount of cake.

We’re reading Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy, her first ever memoir, about her mother, about becoming a writer, about loving someone complicated and running away from them anyway. We will have things to say about this.

No pressure to finish the book. Just bring a good appetite and energy to yap.

11am Sunday so you can sleep in first. Nobody leaves on time. I’m very proud of that.
